Ich finde es ja gut, wenn mir jemand sozusagen aus der Seele spricht. Thomas „Thommy“ Davis ist einer von denen, von denen ich gerne lese und höre. Thommy Davis, das muss man vielleicht erklären, ist ein US-amerikanischer DJ und Musikproduzent aus Baltimore, mit dem ich seit fünf Jahren auf Facebook verbunden bin. Ich mag seine Soulful House Musik sehr und spiele sie häufiger. Ich mag auch seine reflektierten Gedanken. Neulich hat er aufgeschrieben, wie es war, als er zum ersten Mal nach dem Ausbruch von Corona bei einer Veranstaltung war…

I have watched enough stuff on FB to be afraid of any kind of crowd and was prepared to leave at the first sign of non-conform behaviors. I myself am a very “huggy” person and I needed a safe situation to practice not hugging or violate close distance unmasked.

I made NO exceptions, even to the closest of friends. It won’t take any health organization, or political rhetoric to know family that we are going to be this way for a long time- no matter what anyone says, be it news, governor, major, or anyone! Believe in yourself and what you can do to protect yourself and others. No handshakes, hugs, unnecessary too close proximity, or poor hygiene, most of all NO fraternizing with unmasked people (that includes close friends, family, or ANYONE!) It’s the only way we will one day come out of this mess.
